Placebo e como ser emo

Quando eu era mais nova, uns 11 pra 12 anos, eu costumava gravar todo tipo de videoclipe da MTV que eu achasse interessante, porque você nunca poderia ter certeza de quando a emissora poderia desaparecer da sua TV. Eu lembro de Placebo por essa música, e esse clipe "Pure Morning":

Lembro até da minha mãe perguntando: "Isso é um homem ou uma mulher?" E eu dizendo "É homem." e pensando "Isso importa?";

Isso pode estar relacionado ao que eu estou sentindo agora em relação a algumas coisas, mas casou tão bem que é assustador que eu tenha me lembrado dessa música agora.

O clipe e o sentido dele eu ainda não peguei, mas me intrigou bastante.

 

Outra música que eu acabei descobrindo um pouco depois:
"Every me and every you" - fui procurar a tradução e não é muito interessante.

 

 

Eles tem músicas bem legais, mesmo sendo meio emo. Tipo, muito 2007 mesmo. Olha isso:

"The Bitter End", assim como Every me and Every You só me parece uma música bem cantada com letra confusa. Não deixa de ser boa.

 

"Special Needs" me chamou atenção. Nunca tinha visto esse clipe e nem escutado a música, mas é muito boa! E ambos transmitem o sentimento que eu vivo e já vivi;

Personne ne sait que je suis en vrai, algo como ninguém sabe quem eu sou realmente. E foi a exatamente 9 anos atrás; Beijos pra coincidência. Mas tecnicamente eu deveria estar escutando Garbage, então eu vou escutar isso agora.
